biography

Born in Winterthur, Switzerland in 1969 and raised in the vibrant landscapes of Auckland, New Zealand, I’ve always felt the pull of place—how geography shapes emotion, memory, and imagination. My artistic journey bridges continents and cultures, drawing from the quiet intimacy of village life and the expansive wonder of nature.

I work across acrylic, pen and ink, watercolour, and mixed media, choosing each medium as a language to express what words often cannot. My inspiration is rooted in the everyday: the curve of a mountain path, the fleeting glance of a passerby, the rhythm of Zermatt’s seasons. These moments—both grand and subtle—become the heartbeat of my work.

 

Now living and creating in Zermatt, Switzerland, I find endless muse in the alpine light, the textures of tradition, and the stories that unfold in silence.

My studio is a space of reflection and play, where materials meet memory and each piece invites connection.
